The Ranch House
Steeped in history and timeless California charm, The Ranch House is a beautifully preserved 1957 California Bungalow that has gracefully stood beside the Hotel Lautner for more than six decades — making it one of the oldest and most cherished homes in Desert Hot Springs.
Today, this storied residence serves as a refined gathering space, perfectly suited for intimate celebrations, private dinners, creative events, and micro wedding receptions. The expansive grounds are expertly manicured and elegantly furnished, featuring a built-in bar, covered lounge with a fireplace, open-air dining hall, and gender-free restrooms — all designed to host memorable moments beneath the desert sky.
Inside, the bungalow blends midcentury character with contemporary comfort, offering a one-bedroom suite with ensuite bath, open-plan living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dedicated hair and makeup studio. The Clubhouse
The newest addition to The Lautner Compound, The Club House brings a contemporary sensibility to the property’s storied collection of architectural gems. Built in 2004 and situated beside The Ranch House, this modern residence has been meticulously renovated and reimagined in a refined “Modern Scandinavian Farmhouse” style, blending warmth, minimalism, and natural textures with ease.
Designed as an extension of our guest experience, The Club House serves as a bridal suite for one of the partners on their wedding day — a tranquil retreat thoughtfully tailored for both comfort and beauty. The primary suite features an ensuite bathroom, intimate sitting area, and an elegant trifold mirror, a must-have for those final wedding day moments. Two additional guest rooms share a spacious full bath, creating ample room for family or friends.
The expansive living room, defined by vaulted ceilings, flows seamlessly into a dining area for six and a dedicated workspace, while the fully equipped kitchen offers modern appliances and a curated coffee, espresso, and tea station — every creature comfort considered. A large hair and makeup studio just off the living room provides an invaluable amenity for bridal parties preparing together in style.
